Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh arrived in Udaipur to participate in the wedding celebration of his fellow party member, Raghav Chadha, and actor Parineeti Chopra. In an interview with ANI, Sanjay Singh extended his congratulations to the couple and wished them all the best as they embark on this new chapter in their lives. He mentioned that the wedding ceremony was scheduled for the day, with more celebrations to follow on the next day, open to all attendees.
The wedding events, including rituals and functions, were planned to take place at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan, spanning across Saturday and Sunday. According to sources, Parineeti’s Choora ceremony was set for September 23, followed by the exchange of wedding vows on September 24.
Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra had exchanged rings on May 13 at Kapurthala House in New Delhi in the presence of their close friends and family. The engagement ceremony was attended by prominent politicians, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former Union Finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. Prior to their engagement, the couple had kept their relationship private.
Parineeti and Raghav had known each other for several years before they officially began dating. Their recent visit to Udaipur to scout wedding venues hinted at a grand wedding celebration, following in the footsteps of Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra, and Nick Jonas, who also had a lavish wedding in Rajasthan.
In terms of work, Parineeti is set to share the screen with Diljit Dosanjh in the film “Chamkila,” directed by Imtiaz Ali, which revolves around the lives of two renowned Punjabi singers, Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila. She also has “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue” alongside Akshay Kumar in her upcoming projects.
