Tragic Scottish Road Crash Claims 84-Year-Old Victim: Unveiling the Story of Brian Mollison

Brian Mollison, an 84-year-old resident of Kirriemuir, has been identified as the victim of a devastating single-vehicle crash on a Scottish road. The incident occurred on Friday, August 25, around 7:55 am, when the Skoda Citigo he was traveling in crashed. Despite immediate transportation to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee by ambulance, Mr. Mollison sadly succumbed to his injuries.

Following the accident on Kirriemuir Road in Forfar, emergency services swiftly responded, leading to a temporary road closure while investigative procedures were carried out. Police are urgently appealing for witnesses who might have observed the incident or possess dash cam footage to come forward with information.

The family of Mr. Mollison has issued a statement expressing their grief and gratitude: “The family is trying to come to terms with this sudden and tragic loss. Our heartfelt thanks go out to those members of the public and emergency services who did all they could for Brian at the scene of the accident and later at Ninewells Hospital.”

Sergeant Kevin Wilkie of the Road Policing Unit at Perth extended his condolences, saying, “Our thoughts are with Mr. Mollison’s family and friends at this very difficult time. We’ll support them as our inquiries into what happened progress. I continue to appeal for witnesses, anyone with information or dash cam footage that may assist, to contact us.”
