During a press conference in Dausa, Union Minister and former Army Chief General VK Singh made a significant statement, asserting that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) would eventually unite with India “of its own accord.” Responding to a query about the demands of Shia Muslims in PoK for the opening of a border crossing with India, Singh confidently stated, “PoK will unite with India autonomously; just wait.”
The Union Minister was speaking at a press conference in Dausa during a Parivartan Sankalp Yatra (PSY) program organized by the BJP. Singh also highlighted the success of the recent G20 Summit, which took place under India’s presidency. He praised the summit’s grandeur and India’s role in it, asserting that India has demonstrated its prowess on the global stage.
Singh commented, “The G-20 meeting was unprecedented. It has never been done before, and no other country except India can organize a summit like this. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has proven itself globally. The G-20 group includes all the world’s powerful nations.”
Furthermore, Singh criticized the Rajasthan Government for its perceived poor law and order situation, alleging that the state has faced difficulties under the current Congress government. He emphasized that the BJP organized the Parivartan Sankalp Yatra to connect with the people and address their concerns. Singh noted the significant public support the yatra has garnered across the state.
Regarding the question of the BJP’s choice for the Chief Minister’s candidate in the upcoming assembly elections, VK Singh clarified that the party typically does not announce a Chief Ministerial face for elections. Instead, they rely on the Prime Minister’s charisma, and the choice of leaders is based on their effectiveness, utility, and public trust.
He added, “Everyone should assume that the party will provide opportunities to leaders who are capable, valuable, and have the confidence of the public.
